Gerald W. Haddock

Chairman & Chief Executive Officer

Gerald W. Haddock serves as the Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of the Texas Collegiate League. Mr. Haddock established Haddock Enterprises, LLC and has served as a private consultant and investor since June 1999. Mr. Haddock also serves as President of Haddock Foundation

From 1972 through 1994, he worked extensively in structuring and negotiating corporate and real estate transactions, and he has been a long-time business partner with investor Richard Rainwater. In 1994, he was one of the founders of Crescent Real Estate Equities, now one of the largest publicly held real estate investment trusts in the U.S.

From 1996 through 1999, Mr. Haddock served as President and Chief Executive Officer of Crescent Real Estate Equities Company, having formerly served as President and Chief Operating Officer since 1994. He served as a director or trust manager of that company from May 1994 until June 1999. During this time, Realty Stock Review awarded Mr. Haddock the Outstanding CEO of the Year Award three years in a row: 1996, 1997 & 1998. In March 1998, Commercial Property News awarded Mr. Haddock with the "REIT Executive of the Year" award.

Mr. Haddock also served as General Counsel of the Texas Rangers for the George W. Bush/Rusty Rose ownership group from 1989-98.

Mr. Haddock currently serves on the Boards of Directors of ENSCO International, Inc., Cano Petroleum, Inc., and Meritage Homes Corporation. Mr. Haddock graduated from Baylor University with a Bachelor of Business degree and graduated cum laude from Baylor University Law School with a Juris Doctor degree. He received a Master of Laws degree in Taxation from New York University and he received a Master of Business Administration degree from Dallas Baptist University. From 1981-1982, Mr. Haddock served as Chair of the Taxation Section of the State Bar of Texas. Mr. Haddock and his wife, Diane, have three children, sons Russell and Nicholas and daughter Kami and three grandchildren.
