Games in Weatherford and Brazos Valley have been postposed due to weather while Duncanville battled Wichita Falls through the rain.
WICHITA FALLS 5, DUNCANVILLE 4
The teams waited through some rain and lightning delays but got the chance to play it out. Jason Seefield lined an RBI single to right field to give the Wichita Falls Roughnecks a 5-4 win over the Duncanville Deputies Monday night at Flip Hoskins Field. Seefield, who hit a two-run homer in the third inning, was 2-for-4 while driving in three runs to make a winner of Roughneck reliever Ryne Miller, who improved to 1-0 on the season. The Roughnecks (8-4) erased an early 3-0 deficit by scoring a run on a Chris McGuire double down the left field line before Seefield's blast over the left-field fence highlighted a three-run third. Duncanville pinch hitter Brent Harris knotted the game in the top of the eighth with a towering home run over to center field off of Miller, but the Roughnecks recovered with a tally in the bottom of the inning. Matt Williams and Trey Presswood paced the Deputies (6-6) by going 2-for-4.
