The Texas Tomcats will play their first home game of the season tomorrow night in Weimar, but they got their first win in franchise history tonight on the road in Victoria. The Tomcats scored seven runs in the top of the fourth inning, three of which came on a home run by first baseman Kevin Mihalik, and held on late to pick up the victory. The Tomcats received a solid pitching performance from starter Casey Grayson who earned the win while also going 3-4 at the plate. Stephen Tomblee pitched his way out of bases loaded jams in the eighth and ninth innings to earn the save.
The Tomcats first home game in franchise history will be played tomorrow night, Sunday, June 6 at Veterans Memorial Park - Strickland Field in Weimar starting at 7:05pm.
