Weimer, Texas (June 16, 2010) - The North Texas Copperheads traveled to Weimer, Texas to take on one of the new Texas Collegiate Teams, the Texas Tomcats. This was the first of a four game series, three games of which will be played on the road in Weimer and one game in Coppell, Texs when the Copperheads return home. Hoping to improve on their last win against the McKinney Marshals, the North Texas Copperheads took care of business and came away with a 4-3 win. The victory improves the Copperheads record to 6-5.
