Bombers, Cane Cutters to Meet in TCL ChampionshipBryan/College Station, TX (August 10, 2017) - The 2017 Texas Collegiate League playoffs have windled the four remaining teams down to two, the Brazos Valley Bombers and the Acadiana Cane Cutters. Over the 2017 Regular Season the Cane Cutters and Bombers were even in the season series, 5-5 over 10 games. The home team has benefitted the majority of the time, both teams are 4-1 at their home ballpark. The Bombers defeated the Texarkana Twins 6-1 in Bryan Wednesday night behind a 5-run 3rd inning and a strong pitching performance from the staff.
